Charlotte Wine + Food Week, presented by Truist in the Spring of 2019, will be our 36th fundraising event! Since 1989, we've created exciting wine and foods pairing experiences. This year's program will delight and entice as well as any other, when we celebrate fine wine, food and fun while raising money! The Charlotte Cultural Institution will be a place where attendees will be able to enjoy the finest wines from around the world, the best food, meet renowned vintners, somms and wine experts, expand their knowledge of wine, and bid on unique items. They will also help Charlotte-area kids.
The week begins with our online charity auction (open to all and free of charge! The week will begin with the opening of our week-long Online Charity Auction (participation is free and open to all! We will have our annual Collectors Gala and Live Auction on Friday - an evening fit for even the most savviest of wine connoisseurs! The week will continue with a signature walk-around Grand Tasting, featuring over 100 carefully selected wines and tastings from Charlotte area restaurants. Live music will be provided. The week will conclude on Sunday, by popular request, with the Rose Brunch, followed by the Buona Note Closing dinner, which coincides with the end of the weeklong auction.
