You can learn about Danish agriculture at Dyrskuepladsen, located in Roskilde. Dyrskuepladsen is 35 hectares in size, which is equivalent to 70 soccer pitches. Around 1,500 animals are in the animal exhibition. It would take you 20 hours to meet them all.
The dairy cows that attend Dyrskuet drink an average of 80 liters each during the three-day show. The dairy cows alone consume 26,640 liters per day. The average family uses approximately 400 liters of water per day. A typical family uses 400 liters per day.
