We are delighted to welcome you for our 30th Season of Rare Plant Fairs. This year we have thirteen exciting events on the programme.
We all get fascinated by new and unusual plants once we become hooked on gardening and gardens. We are always on the hunt for that one special plant, whether we collect a specific group of plants, such as roses or snowdrops or irises. Finding the plants we want or need (which is not always the same) can be difficult. It's not always easy. Many specialist nurseries and growers are available in the UK, but they may be located in remote areas or not open to the public on a regular basis. How can we bring together these nurseries with the eager gardeners who want to purchase their plants? Rare Plant Fairs are held from March through September.
The events are all held in unique and beautiful gardens that offer the visitor a complete horticultural experience, whether they are novices or experts. The original concept is still as popular as ever with both nurseries and gardeners. All of our venues offer refreshments that are often home-made.
Our nurseries offer a wide range of unusual and interesting plants. They are all genuine growers who want to provide you with well-grown plants as well as advice about the plants they sell. Admission to our Fairs includes both the Fair and Gardens. The price is usually the same or lower than the usual admission fee.
